How to use this Folding Rollator?

Assembling of Drive Rollator

1. First, remove all contents from the carton: backrest, handle with a tube, Rollator frame, and Basket.
2. Open the frame and slide the padded backrest into frame brackets, making sure snap bottoms protrude through holes.
3. Unscrew the tightening knob from the handle and insert the handle tube into the frame at the desired height, lining up the holes appropriately.
4. Slide bolts through holes from the inside and screw on the tightening knob until secure.

Adjusting the hand brake system

1. Hold firmly in place do not turn.
2. To tighten the hand brake adjustment, turn the nut clockwise.
3. To loosen the hand brake adjustment, turn the nut counterclockwise.

Loop Lock Operation

Always engage and disengage wheel locks on both sides simultaneously.

• To slow down or come to a temporary stop:
  • Pull up slowly on the loop locks with four fingers until the unit slows down or comes to a temporary stop.

 

• To temporarily lock the wheels in position:
  • Press down on both loop locks with palms until you hear a click that will tell you the wheels are locked.

 

• To release wheel locks:
  • Push up on both loop locks with the palms of your hand to the original position.

 

Safety Precautions

• Please make sure the Drive four-wheel rollator with Fold up Removable Back Support is fully opened, the seat is down, and the folding bar under the seat is locked in the down position.
• Be sure that both knobs are fully tightened and are at equal heights
• Test the mobility aid device for stability before applying full weight to hand grips
• Test the loop locks before operating the rollator
• When wheels are locked (see illustrations for locking and releasing locks below), the lock bar on the rear wheels should prevent the wheels from turning.
• If the wheels turn while the brakes are locked, please take the unit back to the dealer for adjustment.
• When locks are released, the wheels should turn freely
• Always lock loop locks before sitting, and do not use the seat when the unit is on an incline or uneven ground 
• Replace tires when significantly worn or damaged 
• Do not have anyone push you while you are seated on the rollator
• This is a walking aid only and is not to be used as a transportation device
