EWheels EW-29 Tricycle Scooter Operation

• Turning On the Power:
  • Insert key into the ignition underneath the seat and turn clockwise to turn the scooter on
  • Turn the key again to activate the headlight
  • Turn the key counterclockwise to power off when stopped
• Speed Control:
  • Black twist grip throttle controls acceleration
  • Twist the throttle grip towards you will increase the speed
  • Releasing the throttle grip will reduce the speed
  • Three-position speed switch controls top speed
• Battery Power Indicator:
  • Current charge and speed will be displayed when the scooter is on
  • Screens display will not display when the scooter power is off
  • Trip indicator will automatically reset when the scooter is turned off
• Horn:
  • There is a yellow horn button on the left side of the handlebars
  • Press button to sound the horn
• Headlight Switch:
  Headlight is controlled with a switch on the headset
  • The "I" Symbol is on
  • The "O" Symbol is off
• Battery Pack Power Cable and Charger Port:
  • To access the battery pack, insert the secondary key into the side of the left-hand trunk latch release lock cylinder
  • Battery can be charged separately from the scooter using the provided smart charger
• Battery pack is located underneath the rear basket
• Frame guards for the back wheels (back wheels covered by frame on the outside)
• Emergency brake tab on the brake handle for keeping the unit stationary when not in use

Charging EW-29 Trike Tricycle Scooter

If the light on the charger is red, the scooter is still charging. When the light turns green, this means the scooter is fully charged. Once fully charged, unplug within two hours to avoid overcharging.

The charging time varies depending on how charged the batteries are. If almost empty, the charge time may take up to 8 hours. If the red lights stays on for more than 8 hours, unplug the charger.Only use sealed lead acid batteries that are deep cycle and maintenance free for your scooter

• Do not use lithium ion batteries. They are not designed to be in this scooter.
• The useful life of a battery isquiteoftena reflection of the care it receives.
• Always charge the batteries in a well-ventilated area.
• The charger is intended for indoor use only.
• Replace all batteries atthe same time ifweak.
• If the scooter willnot be used for an extended period, arrange to have the batteries recharged at least onceevery month to avoid deterioration of the batteries.
