The Deluxe Dressing Stick is made of a lightweight hardwood dowel with a 5/8-inch diameter and a length of 26 inches. The vinyl-coated, double hook end provides a snag-free tool for pulling on or pushing off clothing, even delicate fabrics. When in use, the smooth vinyl coating gently holds the fabric to keep it from slipping off the hook. A specially shaped, small hook is located opposite the double hook end and aids in 'hooking' the edge of clothing or pulling zippers or shoelace loops. The dressing stick is designed to reduce bending at the hip, for individuals with arthritis or limited upper extremity movement.
